The details
Pay, in detail
Two ways to be paid. You pick the one that fits the week.
- Flat-rate floor: $2,000 each for 6,000 team miles or less, plus $0.80 for every team mile over 6,000.
- Per mile: $0.80 split across all paid miles. About $2,400 a week each at 6,000 team miles, $2,600 at 6,500, $2,800 at 7,000.
Bonuses
- $1,000 sign-on.
- Stay-on-the-road: $2,200 after 6 weeks in a row; $2,300 after 10.
- Clean DOT inspection: $100, $300, $500.
- Referral: $500 per team after they work a month.
The truck & the run
- Automatic Freightliner Cascadia: inverter, fridge, microwave, and bypass. You bring your own GPS.
- All 48 states. Mostly drop-and-hook, live loads sometimes, no freight touch.
- 24/7 dispatch. Weekly direct deposit. Fuel cards. 1099 tax form.
Requirements & orientation
- Six months of verifiable OTR experience.
- A 90-degree reverse parking test at orientation.
- Drivers outside Florida fly to Orlando for the test, orientation, and truck pickup. Atlantic pays back half of those costs once you start.
- No driving partner? Atlantic may be able to match you with one.
What comes out of the check
- Work-injury insurance: $49 a week.
- Escrow of $1,000, taken as $250 from each of the first four checks. You get it back after two weeks’ notice.
- Breakdowns are paid: $100 a day each driver, plus a place to stay.

After the recruiter step, Atlantic reviews and confirms the final terms with you before you start.
