We are hiring an experienced CDL-A driver for regional routes delivering general goods to U.S. military bases. Our freight includes non-sensitive items — products bound for PX stores, not munitions or equipment.
Home 2-3 nights per week. The distribution center is closed on weekends. If you have kids at home and are tired of over-the-road, this is the job for you.
Job Highlights
- Regional routes — occasionally up to 1,000 miles (mostly under 300 miles)
- Freight: Touch and drop-and-hook
- Cargo: Consumer goods, supplies for PX stores (no weapons or munitions)
- Schedule: Consistent work based on military needs — home in Waco 2-3 times a week
- Primary Hub: Waco, TX (pickup location)
- Military work is steady and reliable — doing a good job means more loads
Driver Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- 2+ years experience operating dry van tractor-trailers
- Clean MVR
- No SAP history
- Military base access required (background check must be passed)
- Proximity to Waco, TX
- Manual transmission endorsement required
