Carrier review
A carrier review is a deeper editorial pass on a ProHRHQ carrier page. Useful when the federal record alone tells an incomplete story — recent operational changes that have not yet shown up in two years of rolling FMCSA SMS data, lane and equipment context that the cargo classifications do not capture, workforce posture documentation, or the carrier's own response to inspection findings.
What a review covers
- Re-read of the FMCSA record with the carrier's operational context layered in
- Operational fit refinement — actual lanes, actual customer mix, actual equipment beyond what MCS-150 captures
- Improvement-paths section calibrated to where the carrier actually is, not where the federal record alone would suggest
- Carrier-controlled content drafted with the carrier rather than as bare federal data
- Verified-status badging where supporting documentation exists
What a review does not do
- Change the federal record. Federal corrections require the DataQs process.
- Issue a federal safety determination. The FMCSA safety rating is a federal determination from a compliance review, not an editorial product.
- Change the underlying federal numbers. The peer-cohort comparison is derived from them.
When a review makes sense
A carrier preparing for a shipper RFP, qualifying for a large-account procurement portal, going through an insurance renewal, or coming out of a federal compliance review and wanting the public record to reflect the operational changes — these are the typical points where a review pays for itself in the surfaces it improves.
