North Star Group recruits CDL drivers for motor carriers in four parts, from studying the job to delivering candidates ready for the carrier’s decision.

1. Investigate the job
Before any proposal, North Star studies the job and the company. We look at how similar carriers advertise the same work and at the carrier’s federal record, tracked month by month. We compare its safety record with carriers like it and, where practical, hear what its own drivers say. The findings and the price go into a written proposal for that carrier.

2. Recruiting materials
Example materials. Each package is made for one carrier and one position.
Each position gets its own materials: templated emails with images, advertising copy, job descriptions loaded into ATS2, and training for the recruiters assigned to it.
3. Recruit drivers
Every applicant, contact and next step sits on one board the carrier can see. This is a live client board with each card blurred. Applicants often talk to several carriers at once, so prompt calls and steady follow-up matter.
Each candidate arrives with the application and signed forms in one place, ready to download. The carrier completes its own final qualification steps and makes the hire.
